Out & About Day Tours offer residents living in Sydney, the Central Coast, Canberra and Queanbeyan the opportunity to travel on a range of exciting and interesting extended tours within Australia each year. These tours range in length between four and fourteen days. They offer passengers the opportunity to visit a range of interesting attractions and venues, many of which create impressive and memorable experiences, whilst staying at some of the best accommodation venues, and enjoying a wide range of delicious food.
The owners, Phillip & Karen Minnis, who operate the business from their base in the beautiful Southern Highlands of New South Wales, have been successfully operating tours for over 26 years. In that time they have established a strong customer base, with many of their clients still travelling on their tours some fifteen to twenty years down the track.
Phillip and Karen travel on every tour, to oversee that everything runs smoothly and efficiently, with the aim of seeking to ensure that each passenger has the best possible experience on each tour.
The tour itineraries often include visits to coastal resorts, outback towns, areas of outstanding natural beauty, waterfalls, lookouts, annual festivals and events, award-winning gardens, farms, orchards, wineries, distilleries, breweries, olive groves, farmgates, arts and craft outlets, off the beaten track places, country pubs, painted silos, historic homes, and much more! These itineraries also often include lovely lunches, morning and afternoon teas, river cruises, dolphin watch cruises, steam train rides, wine-tastings, chocolate and fudge tastings, visits to historical museums, guided informative town tours, and more!
At Out & About Day Tours, we take pride in the fact that our passengers travel in luxury and comfort, by utilising only luxury coaches owned by reputable tour companies and operators. All coaches are seat-belted, air-conditioned, video equipped, toilet equipped and spacious. The coach drivers have been carefully selected for their professional manner, and the friendly and caring attitude they display to the passengers.
A pick-up and drop-off service, using luxury chauffeur-driven vehicles, is available to most residents living in Sydney, the Central Coast, Canberra and Queanbeyan. This service is included in the cost of all tours.
